With its award-winning sibling, Concept 40 combines the best of the Q Acoustics Concept range with a new cabinet made with GelcoreTM Construction for ultra-low resonance and beautiful lacquer finishes. The result is a cabinet that enables the dual 125mm drive units to perform to their full potential.

The Q Acoustics Concept 40 has a big sound port and two pairs of high-quality speaker terminals. Its sound port is huge and its high-quality Gel core technology is the centerpiece. Although it does lack the deep bass found in its predecessor, Concept 40 is an excellent value for the money.

The Q Acoustics Concept 40 Floorstanding Speakers use a dual-stage design that integrates the best of a ring radiator and a dome-type tweeter. The tweeter is mounted in a butyl rubber housing to minimize resonance. The woofers are made from aramid and paper, which further enhances bass performance. Moreover, the crossover uses audiophile-grade components and u-core inductors to reduce crosstalk.

The Concept 40s produce a rich, layered sound. They also have good definitions, which allows you to hear details in your music. The Concept 40s are also very detailed when it comes to the stereo image. Their dynamic range is wide and the sound is clear without any harshness or glare.
